An offer went out from Rutgers this week to Ohio tight end Gavin Grover. It is the latest push by the Scarlet Knights into a deep-region in terms of Big Ten recruiting.
A three-star tight end and defensive end, the class of 2024 athlete is ranked as the No. 13 player on Ohio and the No. 15 tight end according to 247Sports.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound tight end plays for Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH). The Braves went 3-8 last season.
He holds ‘Power Five’ offers from Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech along with Rutgers. He also holds an offer from Cincinnati, a program that will soon be joining the Big 12.
