With the start of the 2020 NFL season just over a week away, ESPN has released its annual ranking of the top 100 players league-wide. This year 46 experts weighed in and four Seattle Seahawks, including quarterback Russell Wilson at No. 4, have been named to the list.

“Wilson led the NFL last year with 22 completions that traveled at least 25 yards beyond the line of scrimmage and has the most such completions of anyone since his rookie season in 2012 (139),” writes Brady Henderson. “The Seahawks have the speed at wide receiver to complement what might be their quarterback’s biggest strength: throwing the deep ball.”

“Seattle added Phillip Dorsett to a group that returns Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and David Moore – all of whom have 4.40 speed or better,” Henderson continues. “Wilson’s durability and his recent MVP-level trajectory, plus the potential for more explosive plays, set him up for a strong 2020 season.”

Seahawks safety Jamal Adams (No. 19), linebacker Bobby Wagner (No. 27) and wide receiver Tyler Lockett (No. 83) were also named to ESPN top 100 players of 2020.
