Russell Westbrook has always been one to make a statement.
Especially when it comes to his fashion.
So it’s no surprise that the Rockets guard took the opportunity on Thursday to send a message to his former organization through the shirt he wore when walking into Chesapeake Energy Arena ahead of Houston’s game against the Thunder.

Zero Regrets.
The words emblazoned on the front of Westbrook’s sweatshirt.
And in case there was any question as to their meaning, Mark Medina of USA Today, pointed out was on the back.
On the back of Westbrook’s sweatshirt read: 1 team, 11 seasons, 821 games, 28,330 minutes, 18.559 points, 6.897 assists, 5.760 rebounds, 138 triple doubles, 8x All-Star, 1x MVP and 0 Regrets. Underneath the “No Regrets” tagline on the front of Westbrook’s shirt read: “Thank you Oklahoma City.”
Thursday night was the first time that Westbrook had been back to Oklahoma City since being traded to the Rockets for Chris Paul and draft picks during the offseason.
He received an emotional tribute video prior to the start of the game and then a loud standing ovation from fans when he was announced during starting lineups.
The fans showed that despite his departure for Houston, Westbrook is still loved in the city where he first built his career.
Likewise, Westbrook showed the people of Oklahoma City that there are no hard feelings and that he has zero regrets about the 11 years he spent in OKC.
