Cami Griffin – Troy Omeire, WR
Omeire is expected to start outside as the ‘X’ receiver in Steve Sarkisian’s offense. The role was occupied by Tarik Black and Brennan Eagles last season. Prior to tearing his ACL in fall camp as a true freshman, multiple reports stated Omeire was the player to watch throughout fall camp and would have likely surpassed Eagles and Black on the depth chart. The 6-3, 230-pound playmaker will be a big target in this offense and has a realistic chance to end the season as Texas’ top receiving threat.
