Rookie Report: Trayce Jackson-Davis notches first-career double-double in OT win vs. Celtics

The former Indiana Hoosier notched his first career double-double in the Warriors’ thrilling overtime win over the Celtics on Tuesday.

Along with a high-arcing dagger 3-pointer from Steph Curry in the final seconds, Tuesday’s thrilling overtime battle between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics featured a break-out performance from a rookie.

2023 second-round pick Trayce Jackson-Davis was all over the court on Tuesday night. The former Indiana Hoosier impressed against the Celtics on his way to his first-career double-double performance.

Jackson-Davis provided impactful minutes off the bench, tallying 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field to go along with a career-high 13 rebounds. Jackson-Davis tacked on three blocks, including a clutch block against Celtics wing Jaylen Brown in overtime.

Jackson-Davis has stamped his spot in Steve Kerr’s frontcourt rotation for the near future. The 23-year-old will have the chance to build on his impressive performance on Friday night for the start of a back-to-back against the Washington Wizards.
