Robby Anderson says he dreamed of playing with Tom Brady

With free agency looming, Robby Anderson has shown interest in re-signing with the Jets and playing with Tom Brady.

Robby Anderson said that he wants to re-sign with the Jets, but his dreams might be putting him on a different path.

Anderson spent his Tuesday night dreaming of playing with soon-to-be free agent quarterback Tom Brady. For Anderson, it would be a dream come true and a welcomed opportunity.

“I just had a dream last night that we were on the same team,” Anderson said Wednesday morning, appearing as a guest on ESPN’s SportsCenter set. “No lie. It’s so crazy.”

While Anderson isn’t shy about wanting to play with Brady, that won’t happen in New York, obviously. The Patriots, Titans, Buccaneers, Colts, Raiders and Chargers all could show interest in the 43-year-old, with Tampa Bay reportedly ready to go “all-in” on the six-time Super Bowl champion.

Despite his dream, Anderson has maintained that he wants to stay in New York.

“I think they definitely want me back,” Anderson said Tuesday, appearing on ESPN’s NFL Live. “I truly do want to be back with the Jets. I love Sam [Darnold]. I love my teammates, Jamal [Adams] and all those guys. I feel like there’s unfinished business there that I’ve been trying to get done since I got there. I would hope to finish out the mission, all in all, but it’s a business.”‬
