Robby Anderson, Sam Darnold among Jets’ Studs & Duds in win over Dolphins

The Jets won their fifth game of the season in a battle of field goals to earn their first AFC East win of the season.

Injuries to Brian Poole and Arthur Maulet was the get out of jail free card Nate Hairston needed to get back into the starting lineup.

Hairston manned the slot, where he played in Indianapolis. He recorded his second career interception, his first since November 2017. Hairston pickpocketed Dolphins WR Allen Hurns and came away with the Jets’ eighth interception of the season.

Sunday was a positive sign for a cornerback who has been a healthy scratch ever since his disastrous performance against the Giants, leading to the emergence of Bless Austin.
