Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is certainly keeping busy in his post-football phase of life. Friday, he made his wrestling debut on WWE’s “Friday Night SmackDown.” He had a pretty spectacular entrance to boot.
He entered the ring with quite the dance moves, coming out to the hit “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO.
It seems like this is just the beginning of a new career for a tight end who was one of the best during his time in the game.
Gronk amassed several accolades over the course of his eight-year career. Tallying over 7,000 receiving yards, 79 touchdown catches, winning the Super Bowl three times, and being named to the NFL 100 Anniversary All-Time Team were just some of his career highlights. There isn’t much he hasn’t accomplished. Now, he will look to build a successful career in the ring.

Next on Gronk’s itinerary, he will host WrestleMania for a two-night event, set to take place on April 4-5. WrestleMania is nothing new to him. He made an appearance at the event in 2017, in what was a foreshadowing of things to come.
It’s certainly strange to see him in anything but a football uniform. If he approaches his wrestling career with as much gusto as he did in his football career, he will be able to achieve success in no time.
