Rivals considers CU’s 2022 class to be one of the Pac-12’s best

Colorado’s Class of 2022 is looking pretty solid

With an impressive total of 22 current members, the Colorado Buffaloes’ Class of 2022 is ranked third in the Pac-12 according to Rivals.

That ranking is based on points, of which Colorado has 1,410 in Rivals’ system. If you rank by average stars, however, Colorado is 10th in the Pac-12 at 2.86. So, it seems that the pure size of the class is being rewarded heavily.

Just above the Buffs in points, Stanford has 1,750 and Arizona leads the conference with 1,766.

The top four commits in Colorado’s 2022 class were all given a player rating of 5.7 by Rivals, which considers them to be high-end three-star prospects. Quarterback Owen McCown, defensive back Dylan Dixson, linebacker Aubrey Smith and wide receiver Jordyn Tyson were all rated at a 5.7.
