Former Arkansas center Ricky Stromberg is now Washington Commanders center Ricky Stromberg.
The Tulsa native started all four years with the Razorbacks and won the Jacobs Trophy as the league’s best blocker. He could have returned to Arkansas for a super-senior season, but instead was taken in the third round of the NFL Draft on Friday.
Stromberg was excited his in post-draft meeting with the Washington D.C. media.

Stromberg was taken with 97th pick overall. He was the second Arkansas player taken in the draft after linebacker Drew Sanders was selected by the Denver Broncos with pick No. 68.
Arkansas could have between zero and five more players selected on Saturday in the final rounds.
