Richard Sherman argues against Matt Stafford’s case for Hall of Fame

Sherman disagreed.

Most of the Seahawks and former Seahawks who shared their thoughts about the Super Bowl on Twitter were congratulatory. Russell Wilson, Tyler Lockett, Quandre Diggs and Doug Baldwin all went out of their way to praise Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his teammates on their win. Former Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman was relatively quiet during the game, only sharing his well-wishes for Odell Beckham Jr. after his injury, which we now know was a torn ACL.

The morning after, Sherman responded to a tweet from former teammate and current NFL Network analyst Mike Robinson – who claimed Stafford’s career numbers help his Hall of Fame argument.

Sherman disagreed.

Sherman kept at it, debating several other players, analysts and random fans on Stafford’s bonafides for Canton.

What do you think? Does Stafford have a strong enough case now that he has a ring, or is he not a Hall of Famer yet?
