Matt Sykes, Grad.
Outside of McCaffrey this group hasn’t seen a ton of playing time, but UCLA transfer Matt Sykes is a big-bodied receiver that could test the Texas secondary. At 6-foot-4, the former Bruin averaged over 14 yards per catch at UCLA despite hauling in just six catches. Daniels could look to him to be a jump ball threat, and the offense may look to force feed him a bit in order to free up McCaffrey. This duo shouldn’t decimate the Texas defense by any means, but it will give them a nice tune up before playing Alabama.
