Revisiting 5 bold Philadelphia 76ers predictions made in preseason

We revisit our five bold predictions for the Philadelphia 76ers from the preseason.

1.) Ben Simmons will make 10 threes

Well, this one was way off. Simmons did begin to break out of his shell a little and he did make two 3-pointers by December 7, but he hadn’t even attempted a real 3-pointer since. Then, he was put on the shelf with a back injury he suffered February 22, and then the suspension happened so he hasn’t had a chance to take another three.

Even if he did have the chance, would he? Past history would say no and he would be stuck at two for the season. On the bright side, he did finally make the first two 3-pointers of his career. On the flip side, he still has a reluctance to even attempt those shots regularly.
