[autotag]Rev Racing[/autotag] moved to the NASCAR Truck Series with Nick Sanchez, and the results were pretty solid. Sanchez failed to win a race in his rookie season, but his consistency throughout the season and playoffs helped propel him to the Round of 8. Unfortunately for the No. 2 team, they came up just short of the Championship 4 after losing a tiebreaker to eventual champion Ben Rhodes.
Still, Sanchez’s rookie season can be deemed a success despite the lack of a victory. The driver of the No. 2 truck flashed potential and should continue to improve going into the 2024 Truck Series season. Speaking of next year, there will be changes as Kyle Busch Motorsports, who had an alliance with Rev Racing, sold its operations to Spire Motorsports.
Sanchez is expected to stay with Rev Racing as they could ally with Spire Motorsports. Either way, Sanchez and the No. 2 team seem to be in position for a breakout next season. Rev Racing has been really fast to his point, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see Sanchez secure his first Truck Series victory in a deep field.
