Resident Evil 4 drops into Fortnite in new shop update

Epic Games is kicking off another Resident Evil Fortnite collaboration, and this time, Claire Redfield and Leon take center stage

Epic Games is kicking off another Resident Evil Fortnite collaboration for the new Fortnite season, and even though Resident Evil 4 remake is just over the horizon, it’s sharing the stage with Resident Evil 2. The collaboration adds Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield to the mix, two years after an initial collaboration that saw Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield turn up in the multiplayer game’s shop.

Leon is sporting his Resident Evil 4 look, having shed the Raccoon City police uniform in favor of something a bit more low-key. He comes with the attache case back bling – no inventory puzzle required – and you can buy a separate his combat knife harvesting tool separately.

Claire Redfield joins in her Resident Evil 2 remake attire, including her iconic red jacket, and comes with her own unique back bling: a set of lockpicks. It might not open any special doors on the island, but at least it looks cool.

Claire’s unique harvesting tool, also sold separately, is a candy-stripe umbrella.

You can get both skins in the Raccoon Survivors Pack for 2,100 V-Bucks. Thanks to the way Epic sells the in-game currency, that totals out to about $20. If you’re keen on either, it might be worth getting them while you can. Chris and Jill remain missing from the shop after their last appearance in April 2022.

Epic rotates skin selections regularly, though, so they likely won’t be gone forever.
