Changes are coming to Wisconsin football’s offense. These changes are ones that many fans were speculating about after the 2020 season saw the unit falter through the second half of the year.
According to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel who spoke with Chryst this morning, the Badger HC will be back to calling plays this year. OC Joe Rudolph will be focusing more on the offensive line as he gives up play calling.
#Badgers coach Paul Chryst said he had productive talks with OL/OC Joe Rudolph. With a full/somewhat normal off-season planned, Chryst plans to coach QBs and go back to calling plays.

With the departure of Jon Budmayr, Wisconsin’s QB coach, to Colorado State’s OC position, Chryst will also coach the QB room this season.
