Report: Vikings have the hardest remaining 2021 schedule

The Vikings have a tough road ahead.

Minnesota is 3-3 with a bye in Week 7. If the Vikings want to find success during the rest of the regular season, the team will have to go through a gauntlet of good NFL teams.

According to tankathon.com, Minnesota has the most difficult remaining schedule of any team in the league. The Vikings’ remaining opponents have a combined winning percentage of .615 currently, per tankathon.com.

The Vikings are currently .500, with narrow defeats to the Bengals, Cardinals and Browns.

Minnesota will have to start putting good competition away at the end of games. Yes, the Vikings defeated the Seahawks, Lions and Panthers. But rather than blow out those opponents, the Vikings kept inferior competition close at times by committing too many mistakes.

The Panthers and Seahawks could be good — while the Lions are not — but one could argue that the Vikings have yet to beat a stellar 2021 opponent. If Minnesota wants any hope of making the postseason, that has to change.
