While there are many fans out there who think Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is either on the hot seat or should be fired, it would appear the franchise has no plans of letting him go.
According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, team officials she spoke to say the franchise believes it has the right man for the job, even after a 17-game stretch dating back to last season in which the Titans are 3-14.
As a result, don’t expect Vrabel to get fired or traded to the New England Patriots like some have speculated could happen.

Based on multiple conversations with high-ranking Titans officials, the franchise strongly and collectively believes it has the right coach for long-term success.
Is the Titans leadership thrilled with losing right now? No. Who is? But they are fully aware the foundation and identity of this team is reflective of their head coach. He does it his way and gets his players to believe that IS the way.
Russini notes that while the Titans are still waiting to see if Levis is actually the guy, they are sure they want Vrabel to lead them forward.
There’s no question Vrabel deserves some heat for what has taken place over the last year, but injuries and the lack of talent throughout this roster can’t be ignored when evaluating him, either.
At the very least, Vrabel was always going to get another season to right the ship, especially when you consider the team didn’t have funds to do much in free agency this past offseason.
That will be far from the case in 2024, though, as the Titans are set to have $100 million in cap space, along with a high draft pick.
