Report: Titans’ Adam Humphries will not play in Week 5

The Titans will reportedly be down at least one receiver on Tuesday night.

The Tennessee Titans will be without their starting slot receiver in Week 5, as wide receiver Adam Humphries will reportedly not play against the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday night, according to Justin Melo of Draft Wire.

Humphries is currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list after being placed there on October 2. He is just one of three receivers on the list, along with Corey Davis and Cameron Batson (practice squad).

If Davis and Batson can’t go also, the Titans will be looking at a depleted receiving corps. featuring A.J. Brown, who will reportedly play, Kalif Raymond, and 2020 UDFA Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.

The Titans also have two receivers on their practice squad in Chester Rogers and Cody Hollister, however the Titans have already used one of their practice squad elevations on cornerback Kareem Orr, per a report.

Now the question becomes: who will fill in for Humphries in the slot tonight?

It’s an especially important question to ask considering the Bills have been susceptible to slot receivers this season, as Bills Wire’s Nick Wojton told us earlier this week.
