Another domino fell for the Texas Longhorns on Thursday night with running back Keaontay Ingram entering the transfer portal.
Late in the season it was reported that Keaontay Ingram would be opting out and contemplating between entering the portal or declare for the NFL Draft. At the time, Ingram refuted the claims. He claimed that he was just looking out for the best interest of his health. Not even 72 hours after new head coach Steve Sarkisian made his way to the Forty Acres, reports are once again surfacing about the junior running back.
247Sports is reporting that Ingram will indeed enter the transfer portal.

Following the high-ankle sprain suffered against Oklahoma State in late October, it became the Bijan Robinson show for the Longhorns offense. It comes as no surprise that he would once again contemplate heading into the portal and possibly look to move on.
Robinson and Roschon Johnson split time for the remainder of the season. The Longhorns also added Jonathon Brooks in the 2021 recruiting cycle and could add another running back to the mix soon. With the running back situation getting more crowded by the day, Texas can afford to lose a running back.
It might be in his best interest for a fresh start with the rise of Robinson as the featured running back at the University of Texas.
