Report: Stephen Curry out indefinitely with foot injury

Stephen Curry’s foot injury suffered against the Celtics will keep him out for an indeterminate period, but there’s some good news.

Just as the Warriors were approaching full health with Draymond Green back in the lineup and James Wiseman training in the G League, Golden State superstar Stephen Curry will miss time with a foot injury suffered in Wednesday night’s loss to the Boston Celtics.

Curry was forced to leave the game in the second quarter after suffering the injury in a scramble for a loose ball. Boston’s Marcus Smart dove to the floor to gain possession, and Curry’s left ankle was caught underneath Smart.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr addressed Smart on the court after the incident.

According to a report from Shams Charania, Curry is out indefinitely with a sprained ligament – but X-rays were negative, ruling out a significant injury.
