A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Pittsburgh Steelers “dodged a bullet” with the recent injury to offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo.

According to CBS News/KDKA, a full tear of the pectoral muscle will take four to six months to heal and would require surgery to repair the damage, in addition to eight to 12 weeks or rehab. A partial tear only needs some rest to heal and can take four to six weeks.
The Steelers did add tackle/guard Doug Nester to the practice squad today, but look for rookie Mason McCormick or second-year lineman Spencer Anderson to fill the void should the injury, indeed, be temporary.
