Philadelphia’s decision to hire Daryl Morey to run the franchise’s basketball operations may have been the most shocking move the 76ers made on Wednesday, but it’s not the only one in the works.
The Sixers have made a few decisions regarding Dic Rivers’ coaching staff — which already includes former Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies head coach Dave Joerger.
After calling Indiana home for the past 18 years, longtime Pacers assistant coach Dan Burke is relocating. According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, the Sixers are adding Burke — who “is widely regarded for his defensive acumen” — to Rivers’ coaching staff.
Before working in Indiana, Burke was part of the Portland Trail Blazers’ scouting department.

Also, David Aldrige of The Athletic is reporting Rivers is bringing someone from the Los Angeles Clippers organization with him to Philadelphia:
Doc Rivers is expected to elevate his former head video coordinator with the Clippers, Pete Dominguez, to an associate coach position in Philly. Dominguez has impressed in various positions the past few years and earned the bench opportunity.
