The New England Patriots got zero positive results from their COVID-19 tests on Sunday. That’s a good sign for a team which has moved four players onto the Reserve/COVID-19 list this month.
Quarterback Cam Newton was the first Patriots player to test positive. Cornerback Stephon Gilmore was the second COVID-positive player and defensive tackle Byron Cowart was the third positive test. The Patriots also added practice squad-defensive tackle Bill Murray onto the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Because of the spread of the novel coronavirus among Patriots players, the NFL elected to move the Patriots-Broncos game in Week 5 to Week 6 in hopes of creating a safer playing environment for both teams.
The Patriots had no new positive tests in the latest round of testing from Sunday, per a source.

New England will need positive tests for Monday and Tuesday, if it wants to conduct in-person practices and meeting on Wednesday. They are now slated to play the Broncos at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
