The New England Patriots are continuing to add depth during a time of uncertainty because of the coronavirus and injuries.

New England brought in 28-year-old defensive tackle Akeem Spence on Tuesday for a visit, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. Spence was drafted in the fourth round in 2013 and he’s spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,  Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Spence has been reliable for the teams he’s played for and he carries a 6-foot-1, 303 pound frame. He’s been out of the league since this past spring, when he had a stint with the Jaguars.

The Patriots recently claimed Carl Davis and Isaiah Mack — making sure to solidify the offensive line that’s been hurting.
