The Panthers appear to be focused on Day 3 prospects and potential undrafted free agents with regards to their video conference meetings in preparation for the 2020 NFL draft.
According to Justin Melo at Draft Wire, the team’s new tight ends coach Brian Angelichio had an 80-minute FaceTime meeting with Cameron Sutton from Fresno State.

Like TCU running back Sewo Olonilua and Northern Colorado quarterback Jacob Knipp, Sutton is another prospect who likely isn’t on many fans’ radar. He played in only 10 games over the last two seasons, totaling nine catches, 154 yards and no touchdowns.
Sutton was not invited to the combine, but he shared his athletic testing results on Twitter a week ago.

The Panthers likely see him primarily as a depth option at tight end. It’s not a deep draft class at this position, so there’s a good chance they will wait until after Day 3 is done to address it.
