Former Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Marcus Brady was requested to interview for the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator vacancy, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network on Friday.
Brady spent 4.5 seasons with the Colts working as the assistant quarterbacks coach (2018), quarterbacks coach (2019-2020) and offensive coordinator (2021-2022) under former head coach Frank Reich.
The Panthers just hired former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales as their new head coach to replace Reich, who was fired midway through the 2023 season.

After Brady was let go by the Colts midway through the 2022 season, he joined the Philadelphia Eagles staff for the remainder of the campaign as an offensive assistant. He then took on the role of senior offensive assistant for the 2023 season.
Brady also was requested by the Chicago Bears to interview for their offensive coordinator position last week.
