Over the last several weeks, a handful of New England sports personalities have comes out and suggested that quarterback Tom Brady landing with the New York Giants not only makes sense, but that it’s a legitimate possibility.
That notion has been pooh-poohed in New York, but perhaps there’s a little more to it than just rumor and speculation.
Michael Girardi of NFL Network reports that executives, coaches and scouts view the Giants are legitimate potential suitors for Brady despite the expectation that he will return to the Patriots in 2020.
Spoke with a number of NFL people over the last 36 hours or so here in Indy. The initial reaction has been "there's no way Tom Brady is leaving New England," but as you dig deeper, execs/coaches/scouts see the Titans, Raiders and Giants as possible suitors.

We’re still not buying the Brady to New York stuff, but clearly there are those around the league who do. And given all the forced speculation about Daniel Jones based solely on Joe Judge’s refusal to name any players, this is only going to add fuel to that fake fire.
Ultimately, Brady and his representatives are expected to meet with New England over the course of the NFL Combine in Indianapolis while they also mull over a two-year, $60 million offer the Los Vegas Raiders are prepared to offer.
Additionally, the Los Angeles Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are said to be seriously interested in Brady’s services, as the Tennessee Titans also remains an outside possibility.
As far as the Giants go, the speculation is entertaining but it’s not going to lead anywhere. Daniel Jones will remain the guy in East Rutherford and Brady will likely finish his career where it all began — in New England.
