Robert Saleh is not the only coach expected to leave The Bay for The Big Apple.

The Jets’ new head coach is expected to bring 49ers passing game coordinator Mike LaFleur with him to New York, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. LaFleur has never been an offensive coordinator at the NFL level, but he did hold the position at Saint Joseph’s and Davidson.

LaFleur first started coaching at his alma mater, Elmhurst, in 2009. The former college quarterback has worked with Kyle Shanahan in Cleveland, Atlanta and San Francisco and was part of the 49ers’ Super Bowl run in 2019.

LaFleur is the younger brother of Packers head coach Matt LaFleur.
