The Alabama Crimson Tide might once again be searching for another offensive coordinator. On Tuesday evening, there were reports that Sarkisian might be the next head coach at Mississippi State, and from the looks of it, it seems pretty serious.
There is some real interest on both sides between Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and Mississippi State. It’s something to keep an eye on.

Aaron Suttles is just one of many reporters who have shared the news of the mutual interest between Mississippi State and Sarkisian.
It will be interesting to see what happens here, especially for the Crimson Tide. If Sarkisian was to become the new Bulldogs’ head coach, Alabama would be looking for their 8th new offensive coordinator since Nick Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa.
Sarkisian joined the Crimson Tide in 2016 as an analyst in 2016 before taking over as offensive coordinator in the National Championship game in 2017. Less than a month later, he joined the Atlanta Falcons as offensive coordinator and stayed there for two seasons. In 2019, Sarkisian rejoined Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa and helped the Crimson Tide to an 11-2 season.
