After it was reported on Tuesday morning that a player on the Washington Football Team had tested positive for COVID-19, news is now coming out that it was DL Matt Ioannidis who was the one who tested positive.
After the initial news came out, there were reports that the player who tested positive was someone who had not traveled to the game vs. the Detroit Lions this weekend, and was also on the injured reserve. It is likely that Ioannidis has had minimal contact with players and personnel in Washington since being placed on the IR in early October, so the team should likely be able to move forward without a ton of constraints going forward.
