The Philadelphia 76ers will have starting shooting guard Josh Richardson back in the lineup Friday night.
Per Sixers Wire’s Ky Carlin, Richardson will be available to play against the Memphis Grizzlies. Richardson has missed the past six games because of a left hamstring strain that he suffered during the Sixers’ loss to the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 22. The Sixers and Grizzlies will tip off at Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m.
With Richardson coming back, he is returning at the start of the Sixers’ four-game homestand. This stretch is an important one for the Sixers, especially considering they’re on a four-game losing streak.

In the six games before Richardson began missing time, he was averaging 12.2 points per game, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Richardson has had a slight dip in scoring production compared to last season with the Miami Heat.
This season, Richardson is scoring 15.0 points per game, and he’s also shooting the second-lowest 3-point percentage of his career at 33.3%. A slightly above average shooter, Richardson has shot 36.3% from deep for his career.
With the Sixers needing a boost, perhaps Richardson’s return could help ignite the team’s offense, which has averaged 104.8 points per game in the past four games. The Sixers are scoring 108.2 points per game on the season.
