Josh McDaniels’ journey to become a head coach again begins on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

His interview tour consists of the Carolina Panthers on Tuesday, the New York Giants on Wednesday and it caps off with the Cleveland Browns on Friday. McDaniels is a top candidate for all three positions its very likely that his time in New England is over.

The Patriots struggled offensively all season and frustration built amongst Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, McDaniels and the rest of the team. New England’s defense was a huge reason the Patriots ended the season 12-4 and the future is unclear for Brady. So, McDaniels is choosing the right time take command of his own team and experiment with head-coaching again.

Patriots special teams coordinator/wide receiver coach Joe Judge also had an interview with the Giants.
