Report: Jarrett Allen to become restricted free agent after 2020-21, can’t agree on extens

Monday was the deadline for the Nets and Jarrett Allen to come to an agreement on a rookie scale contract extension.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Allen and the Nets were unable to come to an agreement on a deal by the deadline.
This means Brooklyn’s first-round pick from the 2017 NBA draft will become a restricted free agent after the 2020-21 season.
While Allen will be able to field offers from other teams as a restricted free agent, the Nets will be allowed to match any offer made to him
