We all know what Jadeveon Clowney said about Eagles fans, but that 20 seconds of raw emotion can be forgiving with one stroke of his black pen.

Clowney is the biggest named free agent still on the open market and according to John Clayton, the free-agent defensive end has eyes for the Eagles.

During a recent interview on 97.3 ESPN, Clayton stated that Clowney wants to play for a winner more than anything and the Eagles could be his first choice for that reason.

“He’s going to be interested in Philadelphia because one of the things and one of the reasons he turned down Cleveland is because he wants to go to a winning team,” Clayton said of Clowney. “He turned down Miami twice because he didn’t expect them to be a winning team.”

According to Clayton, Clowney is so interested in winning that he could sign for as low as $9-10 million on a one-year deal, something that would definitely entice GM Howie Roseman.

Adding Clowney to the Eagles front would breathe incredible life into a defense that already has been strengthened in the middle with Javon Hargrave and in the secondary with Darius Slay and Nickell Robey-Coleman.
