REPORT: Henry Ruggs III injury required stitches, no muscular damage

It was reported last month that former Alabama WR, and current Raiders WR, Henry Ruggs was injured while helping a friend move.

Last month it was reported that former Alabama wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was injured while helping a friend move.

Information about the incident, as well as updates on his health, were few and far between, besides rather vague statement claiming the injury was to his thigh and was not major.

Ruggs was the first wide receiver selected in the 2020 NFL draft, the No. 12 overall pick by the Las Vegas Raiders.

Today, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that his sources tell him the injury that occurred while being “pinned between a trailer and a car while helping a friend move.” The injuries he sustained were minor, as they only required stitches.

As Schefter mentions, Ruggs is expected to be fully ready by the time training camp rolls around.
