It had been rumored for several week, but essentially confirmed on Monday… The New York Giants will hire Freddie Kitchens as their tight ends coach.
Bruce Feldman of The Athletic and FOX Sports 1 was the first to report.

Kitchens had spent the previous two seasons in Cleveland, finding himself promoted from associate head coach and running backs coach to offensive coordinator to head coach. He was fired after a 6-10 season in 2019.
Prior to his time with the Browns, Kitchens spent 11 years with the Arizona Cardinals, coaching tight ends, quarterbacks and running backs over different spans. He also served on season as the Dallas Cowboys tight ends coach in 2006.
Adding a coach with Kitchens’ experience will only serve to help head coach Joe Judge, as well as the team’s young tight ends.
