With the season circling the drain, it’s time for the New York Giants to begin experimenting. That could happen this weekend against the Dallas Cowboys.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that although quarterback Mike Glennon is expected to start in Week 15, his backup, Jake Fromm, could see some action.
Though Giants QB Mike Glennon is expected to start Sunday vs. Cowboys with Daniel Jones still out, recently acquired QB Jake Fromm could see some action in the game, per source. It’s something the team is considering.

There is no point in playing Glennon beyond what is needed. He is not the future of the franchise and his quantity is known. He is backup material and should only play in emergencies. The Giants, at 4-9 and sinking, have no more emergencies. They are dead in the water and their season cannot be salvaged.
Playing Fromm just makes sense. Let’s see what he has — if anything — and go from there. If Joe Judge is getting another year then by all means he should empty his bench and see what some these players can do.
