Per a report from ESPN, Dan Mullen is out as head coach of the Florida Gators.
The report states that running back coach and special teams coordinator Greg Knox will serve as interim head coach.
A staff meeting was called for 1 p.m. ET and a team meeting for 1:30
After losing to Missouri on Saturday, Florida is now 5-6 overall and 2-6 in the SEC.
Florida has lost four of its last five games, including a blowout loss to South Carolina. Its only win in the last five games came against Samford.
Greg Knox is expected to serve as Florida’s interim head coach with the Gators parting ways with Dan Mullen. Florida faces Florida State this Saturday and needs a win to qualify for a bowl game.
