Report: Eagles’ TE Dallas Goedert to miss time with a fractured right forearm

Philadelphia star tight end Dallas Goedert suffered a forearm fracture in the Eagles 28-23 win over the Dallas Cowboys and could miss time

Eagles star tight end Dallas Goedert suffered a fracture in his right forearm based upon initial testing and could miss time, Jeff McLane of The Inquirer reports.

Goedert will undergo an MRI on Monday morning to confirm and to see if there’s additional damage, and he could be placed on injured reserve.

Philadelphia has a bye in Week 10, but they have a tough stretch of games that includes four playoff teams:

  • Week 11 at Kansas City Chiefs
  • Week 12 vs. Buffalo Bills
  • Week 13 vs. San Francisco 49ers
  • Week 14 at Dallas Cowboys

Goedert exited and did not return after being tackled by Cowboys safety Markquese Bell in the third quarter after making a reception.

Goedert finished the night with three catches for 50 yards and has 38 catches for 410 yards and two touchdowns.

Jack Stoll will be the No. 1 tight end in Goedert’s absence, while Albert Okwuegbunam, acquired from the Denver Broncos via trade in August, could see significant snaps as well.

Grant Calcaterra was also sidelined Sunday after a concussion in Week 9 against the Washington Commanders.
