On Tuesday Morning, ESPN’s Chris Low reported that it’s official: Charlie Strong has joined Nick Saban’s staff at the University of Alabama as a defensive analyst.
Nobody has had more success bringing in former head coaches than Nick Saban, and he’s tapping back into that market with Charlie Strong, who has agreed to join the @AlabamaFTBL staff as a defensive analyst, sources tell ESPN. Strong had several opportunities to join SEC staffs.

Also according to Low, several other SEC programs were looking to hire Strong to join their staff.
Strong was a head coach at Louisville, Texas and South Florida. But most recently, Strong was an analyst at the University of Florida.
