We have all been waiting to hear when MSU Basketball will start their season officially, and it looks like they at least have a date circled. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the NCAA currently has a date of Dec. 1st targeted for the 2020 Champion’s Classic.
The Champion’s Classic has been Michigan State’s season opener for nearly a decade and also includes Kansas, Kentucky and Duke in a rotating match-up.
According to many reports, the Champion’s Classic will be taking place in Florida in a bubble environment similar to what we’ve seen from the NBA and WNBA.
Sources: The current target date for the 2020 Champions Classic in Orlando is December 1st.
Matchups are Kentucky/Kansas and Duke/Michigan State.
