The final chapter of the 2020 Auburn football season was closed on Friday with a disappointing loss to Northwestern, 35-19, in the Citrus Bowl.
The Tigers struggled early, falling behind by 14 points in the first quarter but fought their way back to a 14-13 deficit. Northwestern took control of the game from there, pulling away before Auburn added a garbage-time touchdown to make the score somewhat respectable.
