Penn State had plenty of reasons to be smiling on Saturday after a 51-15 victory at Maryland. Not only did the win keep Penn State in the running for the Big Ten East Division, but the Nittany Lions got a confidence boost for the offense with the performance.
Drew Allar had one of his best outings as a starting quarterback and the hope is that leads to some carryover to next week’s big home game against Michigan. But the defense remains incredible for the Nittany Lions as well, and this defense looks like it is ready for its next big challenge.
