Defense: B+
As mentioned, the defense was a key reason why Penn State was able to stay in this game today. Ji’Ayir Brown was the leading tackler this afternoon, finishing the day with 10 total tackles and a pass deflection. The secondary all-around played well today. However, the run game is where things really struggled, giving up 183 total yards, with 138 of it being from Spartans running back Kenneth Walker.
