As the summer goes on organizations are preparing to rebuild their rosters, many teams including the Brooklyn Nets will look to make aggressive moves to ensure a postseason run.
Founder of Legion Hoops Ross reports that Brooklyn was involved in preliminary talks around a three-team trade involving the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets.
According to the news the trade involved the Nets shopping deadeye three-point shooter Joe Harris. Guard James Bouknight and John Collins were the other players discussed alongside draft picks.
The Hawks announced their intent to trade John Collins already, as they continue to search for a team with interest in the slashing forward. Collins is an expert at finishing around the rim and punishing lackluster perimeter defense.
The trade talks clearly didn’t complete as the Hornets began exploring disgruntled player Myles Turner with the Indiana Pacers.
