The Denver Broncos have re-signed backup offensive lineman Quinn Bailey to a one-year contract, according to the Denver Post‘s Parker Gabriel.
The Broncos opted not to place a restricted free agent tender on Bailey that would have paid him $2.985 million in 2024. Instead, Denver is re-signing the offensive lineman for $1.055 million, the league minimum salary for a player with three years of experience.
Bailey’s deal will pay him less than he would have received with an RFA tender, but it does represent an increase from his $940,000 salary in 2023.
Bailey is the third in-house free agent the Broncos have re-signed so far, joining linebacker Jonas Griffith and wide receiver Michael Bandy. Griffith and Bandy were exclusive rights free agents who received one-year tenders worth $985,000 and $915,000, respectively.
In addition to bringing back Griffith, Bandy and Bailey, Denver is also working to re-sign safety P.J. Locke. After restructuring wide receiver Tim Patrick’s contract on Friday, the Broncos are now under the salary cap.
