The Denver Broncos are not entertaining trade offers for star cornerback Pat Surtain, but the team seems to be willing to field calls for other players.
In fact, the Broncos have a “good offer” on the table for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, according to a report from ProFootballTalk.com’s Mike Florio. Despite being described as “good,” Denver doesn’t like the offer enough to accept it, at least not yet.
Things could obviously change after the Broncos host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Whether its a team increasing its offer or Denver lowering the asking price, the looming deadline could spark action.
Jeudy has downplayed trade talks, but it’s a known fact that the Broncos have been listening to offers for the receiver for more than a year.
Denver already traded outside linebacker Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers earlier this month, and more moves might be on the way. The NFL’s trade deadline is 2 p.m. MT on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
