Seattle Seahawks v Chicago Bears

How long do you have? Jason Witten is proving you can’t just throw any former Cowboy in the booth and expect competence. Joe Tessitore is constantly reminding people why they’d never heard of Joe Tessitore before. The producers are obsessed with showing their talent on screen. Whereas Jon Gruden refused to deviate from his predetermined talking points, this booth is all deviation from any talking point. But the worst part of a nearly unwatchable broadcast is the Booger mobile, the cart ridden by Booger McFarland so he can provide a field-level view of the game, or something like that. It’s bad enough that having him on the field kills whatever timing and rapport the trio may have had together in the booth. It’s worse that the cart adds nothing to the broadcast except shots of Booger riding it, which some at the expense of stuff we actually want to see. Like football.
