Report: Bills WR John Brown working out with Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater

Buffalo Bills WR John Brown, Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater working out together.

Due to the difficulties surrounding the current NFL offseason due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, players in the league are having trouble getting together with their teammates to conduct workouts.

In lieu of getting together with some of his own guys, Bills wide receiver John Brown is working out with another NFL quarterback instead of his own in Josh Allen. Per Peter King of NBC Sports, Brown is working out with Teddy Bridgewater, the Carolina Panthers’ new starting quarterback.

There are issues. Bridgewater is working with pro and college receivers (including Buffalo’s John Brown) in Miami, but not yet with any of his own.

Better than nothing, right?

While Brown is getting in some work with Bridgewater, he might be trying to connect with his own quarterback in the coming weeks. Recently Allen and backup quarterback Matt Barkley were working out with a few of their new teammates in California in rookies Zack Moss, Gabriel Davis and Isaiah Hodgins. Some reports indicate that Allen is planning to finally workout with some of his other teammates, including Brown and another new teammate in Stefon Diggs in the coming days. Bills Wire has been told that might not actually happen due to ongoing difficulties surrounding the current offseason. But at some point it likely will happen.
